Robert preaches, teaches and is a Deacon and has been doing all of this for many years, and just loves being a Wedding Minister for couples. You will love him as a person because he truly has an amazing heart and is a very good speaker!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding officiant, Robert Burton. At our initial meet-and-greet at a local coffee shop, my husband and I were immediately put at ease by Robert’s kind and caring nature. He asked to hear mine and Aaron’s story and listened with such genuine interest and love. We told him the type of ceremony we wanted and a few “must-haves” but gave him freedom to write the rest. A few weeks later we were sent a draft of our ceremony and it was so perfectly “us.” As I walked down the aisle on our wedding day (a little nervous to be standing in front of 300 people), Robert began speaking and my nerves were instantly calmed. His words were thoughtful, concise, and so personal to our story. We’ve received so many compliments from friends and family since the big day and I can’t thank him enough for making our ceremony so perfect! "We had the pleasure of having Robert officiate our wedding in June of this year. I’ll be honest, at first, I was a little hesitant about hiring someone I didn’t know to marry us. Within 5 minutes of meeting Robert, my hesitation quickly went away. He is so personable and it felt like we had known him for years! He was extremely helpful when it came to figuring out exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. He had great suggestions and answered all of the questions we had. He put his own little spin on the ceremony (with our permission beforehand) and made everyone, especially my husband and I, feel so comfortable and relaxed. It was everything we wanted it to be and more. I cannot tell you how many of our guests came up to us and told us how beautiful our ceremony was and how much they loved our officiant and how he did such a great job. We put our trust in him on the most important day of our lives so far and he definitely did not let us down. My husband and I look forward to keeping in touch with Robert throughout the years to come. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend hiring Robert as your officiant, he is impossible to beat!!

We didn’t get the chance to meet Scott in person but in all of our communications he was amazing & very helpful with all his information!

Robert was the officiant who performed our ceremony & he was amazing! It was so much fun to be able to help create our own ceremony & Robert did a wonderful job! He kept things light & made us laugh to break the ice on more than one occasion. He worked wonders making sure that we had the most perfect ceremony. We had Robert Burton perform our ceremony on 8.29.15 at Camp Lucy, Sacred Oaks. Having an out of town wedding, we wanted to make sure we chose the perfect officiant to represent our love. Robert was quick to respond and very personable. We skyped and instantly knew he was right for our ceremony. He gave us recommendations on newlywed books, ceremony vows and ideas, and made us feel comfortable with this process. Robert took our ideas and made the ceremony so romantic, yet funny. The crowd was laughing as much as they were crying. He chose the perfect Bible Verse and prayer to start our marriage. I even had a friend ask about our vows! My husband and I are so pleased with our decision to have Robert Burton marry us. We met him months before the wedding via Skype, because of the distance. It was very convenient for us to meet him via Skype from the comfort of our own home. He did not pressure us to choose him, even after we met. But we knew right away that he would be great! And he was. He got to know us before the wedding, and gave us some brief but helpful marriage advice. He met us at our block hotel for the rehearsal and then at the venue for the ceremony. At the ceremony, Robert made us feel relaxed right away, which was a big task because we were both shaking nervous. The ceremony that he prepared for us was exactly what we asked for: short and sweet. Everyone laughed! Everyone cried! We are happy to have had Robert be apart of our big day! We highly recommend him to anyone getting married!

From the moment we were introduced to Robert, Josh and I felt like we had shared a connection with him for years. From preparation meeting, to Skype video check ins and much more he truly became a friend. Robert really made the day precious for josh and I. Robert was the officiant for our wedding on July 18, 2015. We came into contact with him through Scott Payne, The Knot Tyer. Shortly after getting in contact with Robert, we were provided a large supply of resources for the wedding- Wedding license info, name-changing information, different unity ceremonies that are available, ceremony ideas and outlines. This information was the first indicator that we were in good hands.

After having our first meeting with Robert, we knew he would be a good fit for us. He was very friendly and has a great sense of humor. After finalizing all of the details, Robert provided a very detailed outline of how the ceremony would go. At the ceremony, he really captured our guests with his ice breakers and great personality. We received so many compliments on how professional our officiant was.

We would highly recommend that you hire Robert as your wedding officiant!

"Robert did an amazing job officiating our wedding. He was available to talk on a few occasions before the big day to really get to know us and make sure we got to know him as well. He gave us some great tips on how everything should go, providing us with a lot of information and different programs he felt would work great for us. He even recommended a few books on marriage that we certainly plan on picking up in the near future! On the day of the wedding, he was there early making sure everything would go smoothly and really put us at ease. Even though we had only met him by video chat on Skype, he certainly lived up to our expectations. Everything went great during the ceremony.
